The Bill of Rights online course explores each of the first ten amendments to the Constitution, delving into their historical background and how each has been subsequently applied and interpreted by the Courts. The course features new videos from the Center’s Constitutional Conversations video series, and challenges participants with interactive Constitutional Questions and Pro/Con debates.
While we recommend you to start with the first exercise on the history of the Bill of Rights, you may progress through the exercises in any order you choose. You can also return to this course at any time.
Your online course is complete after you finish all exercises and the post assessment. If you are an educator, you will have the option to receive Continuing Education Units (CEU) from James Madison University. This course is worth fifteen contact hours, or 1.5 CEUs. The cost to claim credits is $25.
