Constitutional Foundations

The Constitutional Foundations online course offers you seven exercises, with each exercise focusing on different Articles and Amendments in the United States Constitution. Each exercise presents background information, resources, multimedia content, and thought provoking Constitutional Questions about the topic. While we recommend you to start with the first exercise on the Background on the Constitution, you may progress through the exercises in any order you choose. You can also return to this course at any time.

Your online course is complete after you finish all seven exercises and the post assessment. If you are an educator, you will have the option to receive Continuing Education Units (CEU) from James Madison University. This course is worth eight contact hours, or .8 CEUs. The cost to claim credits is $25.

Educators who are accepted into a Montpelier Seminar are asked to complete this online course prior to attending their seminar.
